Who are we?

Tompeang Russey Khmer Association (TRK), is a non-governmental (NGO) and non-profit organization which aims to strengthen the community. The opportunities include education, knowledge sharing, skills upgrading, financial support for villagers and villages in rural areas.

We do not serve any political party or religion.

A Letter from the Founder

The founder of TRK

Dear all,

My name is Loeurm Sowath and I founded Tompeang Russey Khmer Association (TRK) together with my team on 14th May 2008. In September 2011, I decided to quit my full-time job to support TRK on a full-time basis and I was subsequently elected as the Executive Director of TRK in December 2011.

We started this NGO with the belief that every individual can improve himself or herself intellectually and economically, and at the same time take part in social and community work to support others in contributing to a peaceful community, society and world.

We are currently running our projects in two provinces - Battambang and Svay Rieng in Cambodia. We have two main categories of projects - The Social Projects and the Economic Projects. We strongly believe that TRK has to be self-sustaining in our finances and thus the Economic Projects are implemented to support our Social Projects which are beneficial to the communities. You can know more of our projects by clicking here. Lastly, we are now looking at expanding our sphere of influence into the capital, Phnom Penh.

If you believe in our vision and mission, do join us at TRK as volunteers. We welcome anyone from anywhere who has the heart for their counterparts in Cambodia to achieve greater heights in whatever they pursue. Do not hesitate to contact me and we assure you that TRK will provide any form of assistance you may need to the best of our abilities. We look forward to seeing and working with you.

Thank you.

Best regard,

Loeurm Sowath
